lubbock county voters seem to have strong opinions about the g-o-p showdown for governor. Local pollster mike stevens says a survey conducted in November gauged interest in a variety of races and issues at all levels of government. Stevens says by far... The g-o-p match-up between kay bailey hutchison and rick perry... Drew the most responses from county voters. Although there have been a few announcements of folks gonna run for governor on both sides of the ticket, primarily those selections fall 37 percent for kay bailey hutchison and 52 percent for governor perry. And again with only 11 percent being undecided. Stevens says the majority of comments offered by respondents indicate they respect the job perry's done as governor... Or cite the job hutchison's doing in d-c... As too important to lose at this point. President obama in copenhagen for the climate change summit this morning... And he's looking for an agreement. But as fox's doug luzader reports that might be tough. Schedule seems the presidents to be changing by the minute this morning this is a last ditch effort to reach some kind of an agreement. It may not have any scientific implications but it probably doesn't help that Europe is getting socked with winter storms world leaders gather to talk about global warming. President obama seems to brace himself ainst the cold as he walked from airforce one this morning hoping he could help tip this group to an agreement.
